Time Management System (TMS)
Developed specifically for ABM by Concept Engineering Limited.
The quest for efficiency, productivity and maximum revenue drives every business. That means reducing costs, and making fast, well informed decisions. The best way to achieve these goals is to make it easy for staff to manage their time more efficiently, and empower managers with the information essential to improving processes.
The Time Management System is designed to provide a mechanism for staff members to enter timesheet information against jobs using flexible and efficient entry methods.
Along with timesheet entry, there is also the facility to:
- Maintain jobs, staff members and labour rates

- Write on and write off job costs

- Neutralise work in progress
|
- View job financial information with a breakdown into timesheet, write ons/offs, disbursements, fees charged, and credit/payment transactions by job within a date range.

- Generate reports on job financial information.

TMS has been created to assist in managing these complexities. It reduces unnecessary effort, the hassle of daily time management, and makes processes streamlined and efficient. Furthermore to maintain all business complexities in an organised manner the TMS will capture all transactions in an easily auditable trail. |
"Spencer Holmes Ltd are a multi-discipline firm of 35 professionals and support staff offering engineering, survey and planning services from our Wellington based practice. When the time came to upgrade our accounting software we looked at a variety of software packages. From an accounting point of view, ABM offered significant advantages to our practice. We agreed to work with Concept Engineering to develop an enhanced time cost module more suited to the needs of professionals who record time and disbursement costs at job level for monthly billing. We were looking for a spreadsheet style application which was easy to use, simple to maintain and would allow each staff member to enter their own timesheets on a daily basis. We also needed the ability to view the contents of our jobs which resulted in the addition of the job management viewer part of the application. This allows us to review the time charges, disbursement costs, accounts payable and accounts receivable etc. We are very pleased with the result that has been achieved."
