Job Costing OR Inventory module

ABM Small Business and Enterprise editions comes with either Job Costing or the Inventory module as part of the base system. If a business requires both modules, either Job Costing or the Inventory module may be added on as an additional module depending on which was required.

Snapshot report writer

For those who wish to design their own reports, ABM has introduced the Snapshot report writer. A very easy to use tool for producing custom reports directly into Microsoft Excel. Snapshot requires no technical knowledge…just point and click labels which are familiar to business people. Although Snapshot is built for users who have no technical knowledge, it also has greater inbuilt flexibility for users who have little knowledge of SQL databases and queries.

Warehousing

ABM's Warehousing module provides complete logical control and organisation of stock, allowing users to create a hierarchal structure in each warehouse with multiple aisles, levels, etc and a waiting area for goods not yet put away. The module uses "bins" to organise and group stock depending on the user's grouping method, location, level, stage, etc. Stock is sorted on arrival, departure or transfer into the correct "bin" and location to keep continuous organisation of stock.

A friendly logical interface provides visual control over all stock in an easy and efficient manner, guaranteeing that the user has the knowledge and efficient control over all the business's stock.

Advanced Documents

ABM's Advanced Documents module provides a powerful tool for printing, emailing, previewing and exporting multiple documents from an easy-to-use interface.

The module supports printing of numerous transaction types and ships with a Maintenance Utility, which enables easy management of documents and control over the availability of documents to specific users for the individual companies they have access to.


The module extends the standard form printing facilities to allow for:

  • One-off document re-printing
  • Printing more than one document from a single processing point (such as an invoice)
  • Printing of documents to more than one output device at once (such as multiple printers)
  • Batch printing/re-printing a range of documents rather than one at a time
  • Printing specific documents for specific business partners, for example a special invoice format for one customer

 

Project Invoicing

The Project Invoicing module allows you to invoice charges to a job according to variable criteria, allowing fast, flexible and simple invoice creation for customer projects or jobs. The module can help with speeding up accurate and professional invoicing procedures, allowing the business to free-up valuable time resources and provide confidence in invoicing accuracy. The module simplifies this procedure by using a step-by-step wizard which requests relevant variable criteria before creating the invoice.


The Project Invoicing wizard requests variable criteria, such as:

  • Where do the charges come from?
  • What filters will be used, such as date range, transaction types and cost centres?
  • How will the invoice be structured, with transaction sorting and display options?
  • Varifying charges to be included, changed, or comments added.
